Candidate requirements:

• MS or Ph.D. in computer engineering or imaging science or similar field.
  Proficiency and several years experience in programming C or C++.
• Must be able to understand image analysis algorithms and implement them robustly in C and C++ code. The ideal candidate is also able to improve on or design new algorithms.
• Good teamwork and communication skills are essential.
• Experience with image quality and human visual perception is an advantage.
  
  Job description:
• As part of a team that develops techniques and tools for analysis of image quality, the person will collaborate with others on development of new image quality analysis techniques, based on models of human visual perception and will have responsibility for implementation of those techniques into C/C++.
  
  The person will further be responsible for:
• Integration of new techniques with an existing image quality analysis system; Testing and validation of the implementation;
• Consultation to users on application of the techniques;
• Integration of analysis techniques with other software systems.
• Delivery of timely and robust software implementations.
