Software Process
Improvement Manager
Provide leadership and coaching in software process improvement
and software engineering practices. More specifically, the position
involves (1) Facilitating manager and practitioner commitment and
involvement in planning and implementing a SEI based process improvement
initiative as a critical core competency necessary to achieve its
business objectives; (2) Provide subject matter expertise across
the corporation in key software engineering areas. BS Computer Science,
advanced degree preferred; 10 plus years experience in the management,
development and delivery of software intensive products; experience
as a change agent; knowledge of SEI CMM and IDEAL model; skilled
in collaborative consulting, and group problem solving; particular
emphasis on individuals who are action oriented, absolute results
oriented, and support organization reflective and learning; in-depth
experience in two or more of the CMM Level 2 Key Process Areas or
other software engineering areas such as architecture, testing,
metrics, peer reviews, and requirements development.
